ABOUT ALEXIS

An entrepreneur residing in the greater Atlanta area. A native from St. Louis, MO, I gained much of my college education from Savannah, Ga, where I simultaneously sharpened my skills as a licensed cosmetologist. The desire to work independently and travel, I created Blush Life Movement LLC, a small corporation that would house all things professional beauty. After graduating with my Bachelor’s in Business Administration, I ambitiously opened Blush Life Salon, a physical location to expand my beauty experience. My love for product knowledge and education led to aligning with beauty titan L’Oreal as a hair artist for their professional product division, Mizani. During this time I grew as a product knowledge facilitator and platform artist. My post graduate studies at Saint Leo University offered a paralleled experience of gathering pertinent business information and immediately applying them to  salon experiences and corporate engagements. As a staple of entrepreneurship, I am readily engaged in social media marketing, operations, and website building to support and maintain visibility for my salon. The consistent push for new imaging helped birth my start as an editorial and bridal stylist as well. My gift of gab is free to run rampant on the Catnipz Podcast, with tons of self care and pop culture alike.

ABOUT ANTONIO

Antonio Daza is no stranger to the world of Ballroom Dance both in the United States and abroad, having spent almost 20 years as a professional ballroom dancer and instructor. Antonio inherited the passion for dance from his parents and because of his Latin heritage, social dancing has always been a big part of his culture. In 2003, Antonio and his family moved to the United States due to the political, economic and social changes that were going on in Venezuela at the time. Prior to starting his Daza Dance journey as an entrepreneur, Antonio spent four years working at a local franchised studio where he won many awards for his teaching skills, and performance with his students. 2008 was the time to take his career to the next level and build a new -different - community of dancers by impacting their lives in a positive way through the many physical, psychological and social benefits of dancing. Daza Dance was born, and it quickly became the place to go ballroom dancing in Atlanta, due not only to the beautiful, convenient, and state-of-the-art facility, but also because of its friendly, talented, and professional group of instructors and staff members.

In this role Antonio, along with the support and assistance of the fabulous Daza Dance team, they continue striving to make their studio a place where people from all different cultures, backgrounds, and dreams are welcomed and united under one roof by the love and passion for dance.
